... It's been a while since I've made a dvd cover, so I thought I'd try this...
I'm a big 'Doctor Who' fan, but I've never really been that drawn to 'Torchwood' (the spinoff, for those who don't know it)... I did watch a few episodes and did like the show, but it's not the same...
Anyway, I was suddenly curious when the 'Children Of Earth' special aired... and afterwards, it's pretty much sure to say it totally changed my mind about the show and made me fall in love with it (and specially the characters)
And since 'Children Of Earth' is probably gonna be out on dvd soon, I felt like making my own cover for it!
Hope you like it!
**This is a FAN MADE COVER, created for entertainment purposes only (meaning, it's a FAKE). "Torchwood" is a property of Russel T. Davis and the BBC**
Yeah, I know... I tried my best to make it as legible as possible and that's the farthest I've managed to work with the text (I even tried making it all in red, but that was even worse). But thanks for noticing... I like getting technical comments
Yeah, that's kinda what I've tried at first... but if I darkened there, pretty much everything would get darker too and I didn't want that to happen.
I've just reuploaded the file... I twicked out the text a little bit to contrast a tinie bit more (and fixed a couple of spelling errors too)... I think it's more legible now
Wonderful job I was convinced that it was the real cover when I fist had a look at this!
Torchwood has a way of shocking you that Doctor Who just can't compare to. I thought the Children of Earth special was definitely the most shocking of all.

Although the white text under the red is a bit hard to read on the back.

I was thinking that the image, just in that area where the text is, should be darker. That's what is conflicting with the text.
